Volumes for Sand Extraction granted under Resource Consents.

 

 

Company: “McCallum Bros. Ltd.”
Resource Consent issued on: 30.05.06 for a 14-year period (though they have continued extraction for the previous 2 years after their previous consent expired on 08.02.04, making a total of 16 years granted.)
Coastal Permit granted to extract Pakiri sand (for the ready-made concrete industry in Auckland).
Area for Consent: inshore in the Mangawhai – Pakiri embayment.
Volume permitted: - 76,000 m3 per annum (McCallum Bros Ltd are permitted49,000 m3 per annum and they are also using the permit to extract 27,000 m3 per annum granted to “Sea-Tow Ltd.”)

 

 

Companies: “Mt. Rex Shipping Ltd.” & “Winstone Aggregates.”
Resource Consent issued on: 06.07.06 for a 20-year period.
Coastal Permit granted for sand extraction.
Area for Consent: in the CMA in the Kaipara Harbour.
Volume permitted: -    1st 5 years: 150,000 m3 per annum, averaged over 5 years, with a maximum of 400,00 m3 in any one year.
                                 Remaining 15 years: 392,000 m3 per annum, with an average of 336,00 m3 per annum.
